2023 roundup

As another year draws to an end we wanted to share a little round up of what Pointers In Need achieved in 2023, with the help of all of our amazing supporters. A total of £11,154.86 was raised through fundraising efforts, including our online auctions, funday and attendance at Crufts. This helped us rehome 70 Pointers and take 30 more into foster care. We are also very thankful for the 13 active volunteers who have given up their time this year to help our cause.

“As we see a new year approaching, we reflect on 2023 with much appreciation and respect for all our rescuers abroad, our fosterers here in the UK, our massive amount of followers and friends on Facebook, whom share our posts, buy our goods and donate financially to our beautiful Pointers.

I would also like to take the time to say a huge thank you to my most wonderful passionate team, who give up their time and energy freely to re home our Pointers, to do social media, to liase with adopters to book transport and all the crazy paper work that goes with it. To spend hours on phone calls, making contact and connections with potential adopters and our home checkers whom are invaulable to ensure the right Pointer is adopted in the right home.

Without this sheer dedication Pointers In Need would not be able to carry out the extensive work that we do.

To you all, I am truly grateful.

I wish everyone a Merry Merry Christmas and a peaceful healthy and happy new 2024 year and give all your wonderful, happy and loyal Pointers a big gentle hug from me!

We cannot help all the Pointers but the ones we can, we do.”

Best wishes,

Claire Gouzoulis, CEO Pointers In Need
