Amazing Annie’s fundraising walk for Pointers In Need

After adopting Dahlia from Pointers In Need in May and meeting the team at the Fun Day in July, nine year old Annie was amazed by the selflessness and wonderful work that is done to help rescue Pointers. Annie wished that she could rehome all the dogs and wanted to do something more to help so decided to do a 10k walk with her four Pointers to raise money for the charity.

Annie’s mum explains more – “We have seen firsthand the work that this selfless team of people do to save these dogs from abusive situations, those suffering from unimaginable neglect, and those who have been dumped or abandoned when they no longer serve their purpose. Pointers In Need are committed to helping Pointers love life again, and having met several of the team I can honestly say that they truly are making a difference and helping end so much of this suffering.”

Annie successfully completed her 10k walk on 8th August in Ashdown Forest and raised an incredible £600! From everyone at Pointers In Need, congratulations Annie and thank you for helping us save and look after more Pointers that are in need.
