Kimi (Kimonas) is 8 years old (though you would never know as he is very fit). He arrived from Greece 3 years ago where he was found starving
on the streets. Clearly, he had been used as a hunting dog and caste out.
Sadly, his owner’ s health is rapidly declining forcing her to ask Pointers in Need to find him another perfect loving home. Kimi is good with other dogs; a typical playful Pointer. Though his instinct to hunt is still keen, his recall has come on in leaps and bounds with whistle training. Kimi has always been trained purely positively and he likes his treats. He is fed a raw diet as dried food did not suit his tummy.
Kimi is sensitive. He can be worried by fireworks and gunshot. He seeks reassurance from his owner. He can be a little wary of big bearded men (possibly a throwback memory from his past) but otherwise he is very friendly has the ‘Pointer lean ‘asking for fuss.
Kimi has many years to share his affection with the right humans. He is at present safe with his foster carer in the UK.
