Lord is a beautiful, 2/3-year-old orange/white pointer from Greece, who is currently being fostered in the UK. Lord was adopted earlier this year by a lady who totally fell in love with him but in the short time he was with her, something traumatised him and he showed uncharacteristic signs of aggression. His adopter feared Lord might scare her young grandchildren and with huge sadness asked us to find him a new home. We would never rehome a dog if we felt there was any danger of aggressive behaviour and Lord has therefore been in the hands of an experienced foster carer for assessment for the last month.
Lord’s behaviour has totally changed. He gets on well with all dogs, ignores cats, sits on command, walks to heel, is very affectionate and is house-trained. He is showing no signs of aggressive behaviour and we feel that he is now ready for his forever home. He has low prey drive but limited recall and would be best suited to somebody who has experience of the breed and the time and patience to continue his training, preferably in a household without children.
Can you give Lord the second chance that he so deserves?
If you are interested in adopting Lord, you are welcome to speak to his foster carer for detailed information about him.
