I live in Derbyshire with my two cats and dogs – Morrighan a Vizla-Cocker Spaniel cross, and Potus an English Pointer-Vizsla-Weimaraner mix. I grew up always having cats and as an adult never had a suitable lifestyle for a dog, but when I found myself living in the Somerset countryside and working from home I was so excited to be able to get Morrighan and it wasn’t long before Potus joined the gang.
After a few years of upheaval I’m now settled with my animal family and was keen to give some of my spare time to a good cause – I came across Pointers In Need through a social post that was shared asking for volunteers to help with website updates and I jumped at the chance to help. It’s so heart warming reading about all the successful adoptions and I feel honoured to be writing up the rehoming stories for the website.
