I am foster mum to this beautiful boy who is available for adoption.
Paul is a handsome solid black Pointer. He is small, 15/20kg but with a big gentle personality. Paul is lively and enthusiastic about everything. He has been with me in UK now for 4 days and has taken everything in his stride and is enjoying every minute. He loves playing fetch with a ball in the garden and chasing around with my own dog who is much bigger and older. He is respectful, but stands his ground in a good way.
He has been on walks around our village and today on a much bigger expedition with 8 people and 5 dog which involved a motor launch ferry, a lunch stop at a restaurant and a long walk. He took everything in his stride but wanted to be on my lap on the boat.
He is a little nervous when close to moving traffic, but responds to a short lead and encouragement.
Paul is a bright boy and is learning his manners such as not jumping up. He loves a cuddle and bonds quickly. He is very trusting of all people. He has been unphased by the children he has met. He is very interested in my cat, but has not chased him. He loves a scent and I would think he has a medium to low prey drive as whilst he is interested in the birds in the garden he is not giving chase. He is clearly aware of the scents in his surroundings.
In summary, Paul is a gentle, cheeky, loving little Pointer who deserves a forever home and in return he will give a lot of joy and love. He is currently in Foster in Hampshire.
