Two simply wonderful family dogs, very sadly looking urgently for a new home due to a change of circumstances.
Ron and Gracie have been in their Somerset Foster home for 10 days. They have settled well, and are an ‘easy’ pair to have around. They’ve been on walks around the village, and met other dogs and people very politely.
Grace, a beautiful black and white 8 yr old girl, adopted through Pointers In Need from Turkey in 2022. Handsome Ron, orange and white, and a few months younger, joined her from Greece in 2023.
Both dogs are brilliant with children. Grace is the boss, very friendly with everyone, and the dogs adore each other. They are great in the car. They enthusiastically enjoy their walks (especially the furry things and little birdies!) and trips to secure fields. They sleep on duvets, but should you choose to invite them to keep you warm in bed on a cold winter night, they will not demur! And if you have a comfy sofa you don’t mind them monopolising, well they’d happily take up your offer.
Ron is a softie, and a real gentleman. Less of a social butterfly than Grace, he will take himself off if he wants a bit of peace and quiet!
We are very keen to find these two lovely Pointers a new place to lay their gorgeous heads as soon as possible. We would love to keep them together.
Maybe you want new companions but the very thought of puppy shenanigans exhaust you?
Maybe you want new companions with a bit of ‘been there, done that’ experience? A slightly more worldly approach to life – and fit and fun!
The Adoptions Team here at Pointers in Need would love the chance to tell you much more about Ron and Grace. Please get in touch.
