Who could not resist our lovely boy Rambo?
Like so many Pointers rescued in Spain, sadly, Rambo has no history, so we can only imagine what his life may have been like before he was found. He was discovered and taken to a pound, where our Spanish associates became aware of him and asked for our help. Thankfully, Rambo is now safe in residence, where he is being cared for while we search for the loving home he deserves.
Rambo is a wonderful, affectionate and happy young Pointer with so much love and life to give. He is friendly, outgoing and enjoys being around people. He has a lovely nature and is a real social butterfly.
He also gets along extremely well with other dogs, both male and female, and absolutely loves to play. His playful personality and zest for life make him a delightful boy to be around. We can imagine him enjoying having a canine companion in his new home, although the right family will always be considered based on their individual circumstances.
Rambo’s blood tests revealed that he had Ehrlichia, a tick-borne infection commonly seen in rescue dogs in Spain. He is currently receiving antibiotic treatment and is being monitored and cared for while he continues his treatment
Now, what Rambo really needs is something he has probably never had before — a family of his very own.
A family who will give him time, patience, kindness and, most importantly, the love and security he deserves. In return, Rambo has so much affection, companionship and fun to offer.
He is still a young dog with his whole life ahead of him, and we would love nothing more than to see him leave Spain and begin the next chapter of his life with a family who will cherish him.
