Sweet Asteris was spotted in a Greek kennel by some volunteers who decided to transfer him to a foster home to give him a more comfortable life. Not much is known about his past. He has a calm and gentle nature. His fosterers say about him: “He is affectionate and quite obedient. When you stop to greet someone during walks he will stay next to you without moving until you tell him so. He walks on the lead nicely. He isn’t afraid of people, other dogs or loud noises like traffic. He is ok with children. He lives with two children, 2 cats, 4 dogs, two adults and an elderly woman. No matter how much the other dogs are barking he won’t. We have never heard him barking. He is very friendly with everyone and he prefers human company.” He has a low prey drive.
Asteris is approximately 5/7 years old and healthy. He does have a callus on his rear leg due to his time in a cage when at the kennel but this is now healing. He is approximately 25kg and will put on more weight once he settles in his forever home.
