Meet Azalia, a black and white pointer bitch from Greece. She is 1,5 years old and she is looking for a home.
Azalia has been here now for a few months, in an experienced foster home. She is still very unsure of her surroundings and will need much time to be able to gain confidence in her life. She loves other dogs, humans as although a little unsure on first meeting.
We feel Azalia needs a very quiet home, with another dog for company, a sofa and an adopter that needs are the same.
We are unsure of Azalia’s past but clearly she has been very traumatised at some point as this beautiful girl just cannot gain trust overnight.

Unfortunately she was found abandoned in the Koropi area in Greece and is likely to have been mistreated because she needs a little bit of time to trust people. When she feels secure, she is a lovely dog.
Azalia is healthy, spayed and microchipped.
She had an MRI scan as she had a head tilt and it was found she had a foreign body in her ear canal. This has been treated with antibiotics as caused an infection. She has now fully recovered.
Due to her sweet and calm nature we think that families with children over 5 years old could be perfect for her.
Azalia will need some training having lived outside and probably never knew the comforts of a home.
