Our CEO Claire was alerted to this boy last year in Corfu.
He was in a cage (no bigger than themselves) with another male, both entire with pieces of fat thrown in for dinner! The hunter was actually laughing at them both. We had to remove him from this life of misery!
We had bloods taken, he was clear of everything. He went to KEPZ ( shelter on Corfu) and has been cared for there until we were able to get him to Athens, he arrived at the end of July.
Now to find him his beautiful home!
Stunning male, in fabulous condition, happy and social, loves cuddles.
Approximately 1.5 years old, very kind, travels in the car in a crate, quiet and gets on with all dogs and humans.
Since Summer 2025 he is in UK in a foster home. This is what his mum says about him:
“Day 4 with Billo. What a gorgeous boy he is. He’s coming to his name (variously – Billo, Bill, Bilbo!!), he loves watching – he gazed at me for an hour yesterday whilst I prepped and cooked a spag bol sauce! He’s been out on lead walks yesterday and today, meeting a couple of other pooches and interacting beautifully. He loves our other 3 pointers and old Mack has made it very clear to Billo that he’s at the bottom of the pile. All in all – a joy. I’m taking him for 3x1on1 training sessions starting 15th September. Watch this space!!!!”
And these are his very own words!
“Hello everybody. I’m Billo. I’m being fostered by The Pipers who live in a little village in Lancashire. I came over from Greece 3 weeks ago and these ‘Pipers’ tell me I’m making great progress! I am very clever at recall. I come back to my name every time!! A few times it took me 20 seconds or so (I was snurfling in the trees!), but mostly I was back with Mr or Mrs within 5 seconds flat! I hear I’m having some 121 training with the Mrs next week with a lady called Abby. Mrs says this will help me with my obedience and focus (though I think I’m pretty good on this already!!!). I am very non reactive (I think that’s the word they used) and am super-duper with kids, cyclists, and other doggies being walked. I am very happy here but would LOVE a forever home – with another doggie or two, and would appreciate two walks a day and lots of humans to snuggle with!”
