Bjarne is an orange and white pointer from Cyprus. From September 2023 he resides at a shelter after he was confiscated from his owner who kept him tied with a short chain.
He is vey good with other dogs, he currently shares his space with a male and a female of similar size. He has been out with smaller size dogs without a problem. With people he is a little bit shy at first but warms up quickly. He comes for treats but he needs some time to settle into cuddles. He is a clever boy and he is gaining confidence by the day. He started playing with toys and likes to exchange his toy with another toy. He hasn’t shown any
destructive behaviours so far, he is happy to sniff for treats next to the other dogs and he is also ok if another dog steals his toy.
Bjarne loves to hunt lizards in the courtyard, he seems to have medium pray drive but this might change as he becomes more confident.
Bjarne can be rehomed with older children, he is an active boy and will need an active lifestyle. He would enjoy having another dog in the house but he can also be an only dog as long as he gets regular playdates.
He is approximately 3 years old and around 23kg. Bjarne has been neutered and microchipped. He has been to the vet and is negative to Mediterranean diseases, he is not on any medication. He doesn’t have any visible injuries or scars.
This lovely boy is waiting for his forever home! Please contact us if you would like to offer him a place in your family.
