Meet Charlie.
Charlie was found in Spain in a heartbreaking condition. He was extremely underweight, and although he is improving, he still has a long way to go. He was also suffering from a skin infection.
His passport states that he is approximately 7 years old, but photos of his teeth suggest he is younger, and we believe he is more likely to be around 5 years old.
The good news is that Charlie has been tested for Mediterranean diseases, and we’re delighted to say that all of his results came back clear. He is now receiving treatment for his skin infection and is slowly starting on the road to recovery.
A kind person took Charlie in and gave him the care he so desperately needed, but sadly they are no longer able to keep him. Next week, Charlie will have to move into a residence while we continue our search for the loving, forever home he truly deserves.
Charlie is a friendly, affectionate boy who absolutely loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He has a playful, social nature and enjoys the company of his canine friends.
Because of his natural hunting instincts, Charlie is not suitable to live with stray or feral cats, as he will chase them. He is generally indifferent to domestic cats, but for his safety and theirs, we believe a cat-free home would be the best option.
Charlie has already endured so much in his young life. Now he needs our help to continue his recovery and give him the chance of the happy future he deserves.
