Home Pointers Bronte

Bronte (was Clementina) one day showed up at the army base in Lesvos, Greece. She is now in the UK and this is what her foster parents say about her:

Brontë is a beautiful girl who has made huge progress since she has joined us.
Bronte is an orange and white pointer. She is a small pointer and very beautiful. She is in lovely condition, a good weight, and has the softest ears.
When Bronte joined us she was incredibly timid and unsure of lots of things. Loud noises scared her and she was quite reserved and liked to hide and try to be invisible. After spending time in our busy household she has made significant progress. She is very confident now and as we have discovered very intelligent! She wants to spend time with the family and our other dog, she now plays in the garden, has zoomies and loves toys. Bronte would do well in a busy household. She loves the company of other dogs and people. She is great with children and adults. She can be cautious at first but quickly warms up.
She will need to live in a household where she receives plenty of mental stimulation. Her sense of smell is fantastic. She is naturally inquisitive and treat orientated, so if any prospective owners are looking for a dog they can train then she would be ideal. Having said that, she does like her naps. We are yet to hear her bark, but she does snore! She has proven to be trustworthy in a secure garden and will recall there, but we would not recommend that outside of a secure environment as she is still a bit nervous on a walk and easily spooked. She is getting more confident on a walk, especially meeting other people and dogs.
She is toilet trained but not very vocal. She will show you when she wants to go out with her behaviour.
