There is a handsome Greek chap waiting to cuddle up this winter… He’s mature, sensible and very handsome!
28 kgs of gorgeous Grecian pointer and his name is Des.
Poor Des was rescued from the streets but the Rescue where he lives is due to close for the winter in November. Des urgently needs a family to call his own and ideally we would love him to go straight to his forever home but if you are able to foster him until that home is found, please let us know. We want him to travel very soon. He’s got his bags packed.
He’s had all the vet checks and is in good health. Of course, he loves other dogs. And he’s happy with cats. He loves people. We have no reason to think he would not be fine with children but possibly, as he quite a tall boy, not tiny ones.
Des is a gentle and friendly soul. While puppies are almost irresistible, older dogs can be ready-made wonderful companions. And there will be all the fun of training him and showing him how to enjoy the good things in life. Life is so tough for these poor dogs. He’s 7 or 8 years old, with so much love to give.
We don’t know his Tog rating, but guarantee you won’t have to worry about being chilly on the sofa this winter if you welcome this lovely boy into your lives.
