Filos is a lovely orange and white 3 years old pointer that was found wandering in a town on Lesvos Island, Greece.
After a short period in paid kennels he is now in UK in a foster home.
Here is what his fosterer has told us about this beautiful boy.
“He is such a lovely boy. He is very affectionate and good natured. He loves to be around people. He is good with children, but maybe a little too much for very young ones. He is good with dogs. He can be an only dog or would love a playmate in his new home. Just wags his tail at cats! He travels well in the car, walks nicely on a Halti and will ‘sit’ and ‘wait‘ at the kerb. He is almost house trained – he’s a smart boy, eager to learn, and will pick up house rules quickly. He loves his crate (will often take himself off to it) and sleeps soundly.”
He is in good health without injuries. He has been checked by a vet and he is clear of Mediterranean diseases. Filos was skinny when found but now weighs a healthy 24 kg.
