Izzy is a UK bred liver and white girl of 2 years old, spayed.
Sadly she does not get on with the other female pointer that lives with her. Her owners are heartbroken but feel that finding Izzi a new wonderful home is the best decision to give a stable and happy life to both dogs. Her family have not taken this decision lightly. They sought help from vets and behaviourists and have been advised that this is not something that will rectify itself.
Izzy will need a home where she can be an only dog. She is the most intelligent, beautiful, alert and loving girl you could wish for. She has excellent recall with the whistle that needs to be maintained having strong hunting instinct. She can be protective at home with strangers but once introduced she is friendly. She is wary of other dogs but she makes friends and has lots of fun with them.
Izzy must be considered fully part of a family and share the comforts of a home with them. She is fully house trained. She pulls on the lead at times. She is good with children although maybe not too young as she is still so playful and manic at times.
