RIO is a handsome five-year-old black and white Pointer who belonged to a hunter in Greece until he was abandoned in a yard where he almost certainly would have died had we not rescued him.
Rio was brought to the UK and adopted two years ago. Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances his owner has to go back to work full time and can no longer give him the home life and companionship he needs and is accustomed to.
Rio is very affectionate and loves meeting other dogs and people. He is OK with cats and has good recall, especially if there is a bit of sausage waiting for him. He can be strong on a lead so this needs some work.
Rio needs an active home where can enjoy his love of good walks.
