Valiant is not our typical pointer but a beautiful Braque d’Auvergne x Mix, bred in the UK. His is 2 years old.
Unfortunately his family are going through a difficult period and are looking for a new home for him. He is a boy that needs some focused training and attention and understandably his current family feels he would strive in a different setting.
He does pull on the lead at times. His recall is good most of the time he does respond to the whistle and treats.
Valiant lives with two cats and does chase them at times. He hasn’t been around children but has been perfectly ok when out on walks or in the town. He does bark when people walk by and also when a mobile phone rings. He gets excited when people arrive but soon settle down. He gets a bit obsessed at pigeons and barks at them. He is fine around other dogs but can be a bit submissive sometimes.
He is healthy, only his left ear has a tiny little scar.
He loves woodlands walks and on the beach however he doesn’t like to go in the water. When indoors he loves the sofa. His hunting instinct is very low.
His current family is available to meet any prospective adopters.
