My husband Bob and I live in a village surrounded by country walks just outside Oxford.
I have had many different breeds of dogs in my life, all of which were special in their own way but we fell in love with Pointers about 20 years ago. We had two, one as a puppy and, eighteen months later, a two-year old rehome. They both lived to the age of 13 and, 9 years later, we still talk about them with an occasional tear. Now we have four rescue dogs, one of whom is a little ‘Pocket Pointer’ from Cyprus. Much as I would love another Pointer it isn’t practical to have more dogs but now that I am retired with time to give, I can think of no better way of surrounding myself with Pointers than by helping Pointers In Need to rehome dogs into their perfect family.
